4.1.: as national association

• The association has to note the term “Daseinsanalysis” at least in the by-laws in order to differentiate it from the so-called existential, interpersonal, or humanistic psychotherapies.
• The president of the association has a University degree or an equivalent degree in mental health, has to fulfil the requirements of the Daseinsanalytic training, has to sign on behalf of all his members the Strasbourg declaration of psychotherapy and practices regularly Daseinsanalysis.
• The national association has to propose in the 3 years of his foundation a training of Daseinsanalysis or at least a seminar.
• At least every 3 years, at the international forum, an official delegate of the national association has to participate to the general assembly of IFDA.
• The subscription has to be paid every year.
• Scientific publications in the field of Daseinsanalysis have to be fostered; each member-association has to encourage their members to publish an article per year in the yearbook “Daseinsanalysis”, the official organ of the IFDA
• Scientific research in the field of Daseinsanalysis has to be encouraged by each member society

4.2.: as individual

4.2.1 Individual temporary effective member:

persons from countries without a national association acknowledged by IFDA who can participate in the general assembly and vote. There will be only one individual temporary effective member per country.

• This member has to fulfil the requirements of the Daseinsanalytic training, has to sign on behalf of all his members the Strasbourg declaration of psychotherapy and practices regularly Daseinsanalysis.
• The subscription has to be paid

4.2.2. Individual affiliated member:

persons from countries without a national association acknowledged by IFDA. They can participate in the general assembly but have no voting right. No special requirements unless the subscription and the interest in Daseinsanalytic theory and practice.
